SUMMER SUPPORT GROUPS
Summer Support Groups are professionally-facilitated experiences for youth and teens, ages 12 and up. Our Summer Support Groups offer a safe place for youth and teens to process difficult feelings, including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, grief and isolation. With the guidance of a licensed therapist and support from peers, youth are able to share their feelings and learn healthy coping skills and how to better regulate emotions.
GROUPS WILL SPEND TIME EACH WEEK:
Connecting and processing feelings in a safe place
Working with horses to learn how to build safety, regulate emotions, and improve relationship skills
Engaging in creative expression activities
Exploring and connecting with nature
6 weekly sessions (June 28th – Aug. 12th)
Maximum group size: 6 clients
Groups offered Monday, Wednesday, or Thursday mornings from 9AM – 12PM
**Please note that groups will be formed based on appropriate age groupings and assigned to a specific day. Please select which days are possible for your schedule.
These groups are being offered FREE of charge this summer thanks to the generous support of our donors.
