OUR VISION

Our vision is to help all humans be the best version of themselves by ending the generational cycle of trauma, healing families, and helping children believe they are worthy of love and belonging and capable of reaching their full potential.

OUR MISSION

Spirit Reins heals the emotional and relational wounds caused by adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and other complex trauma events. Our experiential trauma informed therapy programs partner licensed mental health professionals and equine specialists with horses to help children, caregivers and other professionals build the skills necessary to experience safety, regulation and connection in relationships. These skills are the foundation for healing and resiliency.

OUR VALUES

We will cultivate the courage to be emotionally honest, to set boundaries and to allow ourselves to be vulnerable.

We deeply value connection and the healing power it brings to our clients and to our lives. We define connection as the energy that exists between beings when they feel seen, heard, and valued; when they can give and receive without judgement; and when they derive sustenance and strength from the relationship.

We will, with intention, invite in and include people (and animals) who might otherwise be excluded or marginalized, providing a safe place where the richness of diverse ideas, backgrounds, and perspectives are valued.

We will offer kindness, understanding, and love to others during their healing process. For us, compassion is a steadfast belief in the resilience of the human spirit and respect for all things living.

Healing is a transformative process that requires continued learning and growth, creativity, innovation, and sharing information, experiences, and ideas that make us better. We will work to continuously transform our organization, challenging our ideas and assumptions, to better meet the needs of our clients, staff and partners.
